Wave Maker

Stand in chest-deep water, holding onto the edge of the pool with your hands. Lift your body up so you are floating horizontally, still holding to the wall. Create waves by initiating a body roll movement, starting in your abdomen, then moving through your hips and down your legs. Legs and feet stay together (as if you were a mermaid). Repeat the movement rapidly, creating waves for at least 30 seconds.

Butt-Kicks

Same process as doing them on land—but in the water! The water level should be below your head but cover your arms and legs. As you jog around the pool, kick your heels up to your butt. Add breaststroke arms for this pool variation.
