It is no DIY Projects, but I am finding myself in a place where I’ve gotta make some changes:)  Secrets revealed. I’ve done some research, scouted out material, and I’ve got answers. Some foods should never cross your lips. I’m telling you, if you’re aiming for your health, let me tell you some tricks and tips. Avoid these 7 things, and you’re on the path to lasting health.

#1 from Huffington PostArtificial sweeteners. Here’s what they have to say about it: “These guys are much sweeter than regular sugar, leading to increased sugar cravings. They also have links to neurological problems and cancer. Try some fruit to satisfy that sweet craving. Natural sweeteners like honey or real maple syrup are also great alternatives, in moderation, of course!”

#2 from Nadia Hot dogs and other processed sandwich meats: “These lower quality cuts of meat are full of nitrites, chemical flavorings, dyes, and way too much sodium. Look for nitrite-free sausages and make your own sandwich meat by cooking some chicken or turkey and slicing thinly.”

#3 from Fitness Magazine: Frosting: “That store-bought frosting from a tub might taste great on cakes and cookies, but it’s packed with problems. “It’s one of the only items in the grocery store that still has trans fats, which are terrible for your health and waistline,” says Melina Jampolis, MD, physician nutrition expert and coauthor of The Calendar Diet. “Trans fat raises bad cholesterol, lowers good cholesterol, and causes inflammation, which can lead to belly fat and diseases ranging from heart disease to diabetes.” On top of that, tub frosting is loaded with sugar, and high-sugar diets contribute to premature wrinkles. Yikes.”

Those pre-packaged mini muffins, doughnuts, and dessert cakes will add tons of calories and loads of unwanted sugar to your diet, plus they aren’t easy to digest. “These foods are bad on so many levels, because they are filled with high sugar content and preservatives for a longer shelf-life — they can literally sit there forever,” says Dr. Tanzi. “Sugar increases inflammation in the skin, which on top of irritating acne and rosacea, can make you look puffy and bloated. Skip the wrapped stuff and grab fresh fruit for a sweet fix instead.”

#6 from Cosmopolitan Health: Frozen Dinners “These babies are convenient (Hello, dinner in five minutes or less!) but are often heavily processed and filled with fat and salt. Instead of going this route, make a big meal (like a yummy soup or stew) at home when you have some downtime, portion it out, and freeze the servings. Frozen fruits and veggies are OK, too, as long as you look for options without added sauces or salt.”
