7. Lentils

Lentils virtually contain no fat, only containing around 230 calories. Lentils are high in fiber which are said to help heart health, and can help aid symptoms of IBS.

8. Spinach

High levels of vitamin B help to raise metabolism rates. Spinach is also good for muscle function and recovery.


9. Cinnamon (1 tsp a day)

Cinammon is proven to help lower bloodsugar levels, and can alter metabolism. Your body is able to use carbohydrate storage more efficiently.
